Prem was fourteen and pregnant when she was sponsored to attend a Daughter’s of the King Retreat. She didn’t want to go to church or be around people and felt scared and not ready to be a mother. Throughout the three-day retreat Prem’s smile started to return. She received a lot of love, prayer and encouragement, and she left with hope that she could be a good mother to her growing baby. A year later Prem was again sponsored to attend a retreat, this time with her daughter! When asked, Prem said she was thankful to God for helping her take care of her baby and that she is going to church and tells everyone her daughter is not a mistake, but a gift sent by Jesus!
