Karina Balmer is an inspiring woman whose life exudes a passion for prayer, intercession, and supporting others. Together with her husband, she lives in Switzerland, where they raised their three children and where she also worked part-time as a preschool teacher.

As a prophetic intercessor, Karina is deeply committed to opening spiritual spaces through prayer and preparing cities, regions and nations for transformation. Her vision is to release revival and foster spiritual growth alongside others.

Over the last few years, Karina has placed a special focus on supporting women in the red-light districts of Bangkok. She has travelled many times to Thailand and helped birth the first annual DOK Thailand retreat in Chiang Mai.

What sets Karina apart is her creativity. Wherever she goes, prayer becomes creative, colorful, and vibrant. She loves equipping people to hear God’s voice and spreading hope. Her personal life story is marked by an intense journey of forgiveness and healing, which has enlarged her heart for people in challenging life situations. Karina shares her experiences with empathy and authenticity, inviting others to take their own steps toward healing, forgiveness, and renewal.
